Results.

The system searches the BMW website for the terms you entered. The results page then displays those pages that fit the search criteria. The most relevant pages are at the top of the list; the total number of pages which match the search is also indicated at the top of the results page.

In certain cases, the first results may be highlighted on the results page: these pages provide particularly good matches for the search term or phrase entered.

Every entry in the list of results contains the title of the page the system has found, along with a short description. Click on the search result to open the page.

Spellcheck and thesaurus.

If a word in the search term has not been typed correctly, the spellcheck function provides you with alternative suggestions. Simply click on the suggestions provided to use them to perform a new search.

If the search term you have entered is identical to any other phrases, the thesaurus function automatically looks for pages that contain these synonyms. A search for the term "eight-cylinder" also displays pages containing "V8" and "8-cylinder".
